Good morning all! I have a John Deere Z355E with a bad engine. I also have a Poulan Pro with a bad transmission but a good engine.
They are both Briggs and Stratton 22 h.p. V Twins. Can I put the good engine on my zero turn?
Poulan Pro B&S Model # 407777-0607-E2
John Deere B&S Model # 44N677-0042-G1
What I do know is that the Poulan Pro does have a choke knob that I would have to add to the John Deere-should be simple enough.
My concern - The Poulan Pro do not have an electric PRO and the John Deere does. The Poulan Pro is putting out 28 Volts.
Can I swap the alternator from the John Deere and get the needed voltage?
Any other advice or input would be greatly appreciated!
