You know, it depends on what is around and that tends to change from season to season. I hate rats, and we've had those when homes are cleaned out. I don't like the skunk odors that permeate. Slugs can be a pain, as can snails, but we can years without seeing a slug and then bam.

That would be the red ants for me. Slugs used to be common too but heavens know where they disappeared to. Robert, yours is a funny one. What does your neighbor do that gets to you that much?

That would be a long post for another thread in another catagory and probably another website as it has little to do with lawn mowers. I will say this is absolutely the worst neighbor I have ever encountered. I assure you, I am being objective in that assessment:mad:.

For me it is Rats and Mice. I live in a rural area surrounded by farms so the rats and mice are very prevalent and they can do some whopping pile of damage. About 10 years ago we had to get an exterminator in there were so many.

Used to be mo;es, but a sonic mole chaser from TSC cured that problem. Now its Armadillos and racoons with the occasional possum thrown in for good measure.

Robert; What kind of pup is that you have posted? Except for coloring, my pup looks a lot like that one.

In your opinion what is the most annoying pest in your area? In my area I'd have to say wasps and mice. The mice get into the tiniest little crevices and make such a mess.

Where I live it's the rats. They live in holes they have dugged in grassy areas. They mess up the jackfruits before we get hold of them. Wrapping the tree with GI sheet solved the problem.

While not really a pest to anything except field mice around my barn, having a almost 5 ft long Grey Rat Snake get caught in my mower deck belts was a little troublesome. My guess is that it had been sleeping on the deck and just didn't get off after I cranked the engine. Good think I didn't see it until after the fact or I would be posting this from the hospital where I'd be recovering from a heart attack. lol
I was mowing the grass and felt a belt come off and thought it must have broken. After I made it to the driveway and parked the mower I noticed a 2 1/2 ft section of snake dancing on the driveway. I found the other half on the deck.
