I don't know if it is the same, but I got this one at Harbor Freight when it was on sale for $79, plus an additional 20% off with a coupon. I use it to lift the front of my ZTR and I am vey happy with it.

That is "similar", but not a "Mojack". Actually looks very nice...do you like it??? I used my Mojack just this past Saturday for my Gravely and felt "very comfortable" being underneath the deck of that 1100 pound beast. Yeah, I used my Craftsman 1/2 ton floor jack for working on my "lawn tractors" but don't regret for a minute spending $200 on the Mojack for my Gravely......although it looks like I could have come out a lot cheaper with that Harbor freight one if I could have caught it on sale!!! The weight lifting capacity on the HF one looks to be the same as the Mojack(300lbs) and I "thought about" going with the Mojack Pro that has a 750lb capacity, but from what I gathered...lifting the front end of my Gravely is kinda like "tongue weight" on a trailer hookup to a hitch(you are not lifting the total weight of the machine and 300lb for my Gravely received the "blessing" of my Gravely dealer).

It's actually very well made and pretty stable. I always try to rock the ZTR pretty hard prior to crawling under. The only thing I found strange is that the instructions say to jack it up with the wheels on the mower chocked. If you do, the jack starts to pivot and tilt. I jack it up with the mower in neutral and then once its in the air, I apply the brakes and chock the wheels. I'm old school and always err on the side of safety. When I was a teen, I needed to change the trans on my 57 Ford. I took the wheels off and used cinder blocks to support the car. I had all four brake drums sitting in the pocket of a cinder block. It seemed pretty logical and safe to me. My Mom called me in for lunch, and when I came back out the car was sitting flat on the ground. Since that day, I take no chances and I am overly conservative when it comes to safety.

Yep, and FYI....just to be sure I always "disengage" my HydroGear trannies before jacking mine up because even with the handbrake on the rear wheals "turn" as you jack it up(can't be good for "engaged" trannies).

I have the MoJack Pro750. JD X758 is a little heavy. What I like most is the Stability and working height. It cranks up to 28 inches. Haven't seen much else that folds and stores with the same capability. Used car floor jack and stands before. Was ok but MoJack opens up the work area more. Still use the Jack for tire removal. That's the only Flaw with Mojack. I'm thinking if MoJack design folks made an adapter to catch the front frame that would put in in the Perfect Tool class. One other Plus. Sitting on a shop stool, or floor. Working height of mower deck to front is at a comfortable working height. With mower off. Pretty much reach any point of repair or maintenance. This was not figured in the equation before purchasing. Everyone has there idea of what works. Doing a lot of work alone I like the stability of this lift. Most of reviews are positive. The ones that aren't isn't against the the tool, it's because they have their way of lifting. Whether its, ropes, blocks, 1950 car jack or Jimbob who can lift and hold it while they sharpen blades. Most places will take back a purchase. Try it.

Yep I thought the same to make it more multi purpose. I rigged mine last year to act as a engine stand/ work bench to work on a lawn engine.

You know that they make the work stand for the Mojack specially for working on engines and mowers.

I use a 1ton chain hoist and lift mine as high as I want. Nothing in the way and easier to get tires off if needed. I looked at the mojack but that's about it. $200 vs my $35 hoist sounded a lot better. Works better as well.
