Model number help

I was recently "given" a Murray mower. It is a lawn tractor style 38 inch cut and has a 12 hp Tecumseh engine. I cannot find any model information on either the mower or or engine. Any suggestion? Thanks

Murray model numbers are normally located under the seat. Tecumseh model numbers a. Either on a decal or stamped into the shroud.

I have a murry rear engine 30" 8.5 rider and looking for model # is it under swing piece or under seat it self ? It had half a B&S engine when I found it in a forclosed cleanout , I put a 10 Hp tecumseh in it and did a good job ,but now I need a drive belt, I'm going to take the belt to a auto parts store to hopefully find a match. It would be a lot easier to order online but without model number I can't . :confused2:

I just purchased a Murray 12hp 40" cut, it is red. The model number is nor readable and I need to get some parts for it. Can anyone help me identify the model, or tell me where I can find the info?
