Model 10313 v-belt replacement and Gator blade

Wondering how difficult it is to replace the drive belt (93-7381). What if I purchased a linked belt (Lee Valley 03J85.01), and spliced it on the old belt as I was feeding it around the main shaft, and then made it the right length. Or can I access this hard to reach area under the deck ?

Also, does anyone know where I could find a Gator blade for this machine ?

I don't have the same mower as you but I just replaced my drive belt and had to remove on of the hydros and it only took 25 minutes. It did take me 4 hours to figure out why it was not working correctly. Take pictures to make sure you route belt correctly.
