My Mini-Trail Boss has been acting up. 2 days ago it ran great until I had to put the chain back on and refill the fuel mix. Then it did not want to stay running and seemed to have no power. My first thought was bad fuel so yesterday I dumped the mix and started over with fresh gas and oil. It was still sluggish until it warmed a little. I thought maybe some leftover bad gas in the carb, Today the same thing and seems worse if at any angle except level or nose down. The air cleaner looks OK. I plan to check the spark plug next. Any suggestions?

The Trail Boss is something I am not to familiar with. Is this a scooter with something like a B&S engine in it or some kind of lawn equipment?

It is a small Stihl chainsaw

I'd suggest adding some Seafoam to your fuel mix to help clean things out..

Several things could be doing this:
The temperature could be affecting this saw and it just needs leaned out, what was the temp you were trying to use it in?
Fuel line might have a crack in it allowing a little air in the fuel.
I have also read a small compression leak causing this issue.

How old is the saw?
