I have a jd135 42" the trans slips it has hydrostatic drive anyone know what could cause it to slip won't hardly pull itself

I have a jd135 42" the trans slips it has hydrostatic drive anyone know what could cause it to slip won't hardly pull itself

First think that is wrong is it is a John Deere.

On the rearend/ tranny or whatever you want to call it has a pulley on top take it off and see if the key is still there and not broke.
There are all so keys on the back wheels I would look at them first

(( racing is the only sport that you need two balls ))
