So I got two push mowers. One is a weed eater brand. And the other is a Bolens. I had to take the top handles out of the bolens and put on the weed eater, because the weed eater was not only missing the engine brake cable. But also the cross bar it attaches too.
Problem is, since the plastic cable coating on the bolens cable is about 2 inches too short (at most), what measurements do I take to make sure I order the right one?
Note to add. The cable isn't too short. Just the plastic coating. It attaches to the handle and snaps into the brake lever on the engine. That part is an inch or two too short.
