Hello, new guy here. Has anyone had a problem with the seat cable that stops seat from folding over to far, it appears that on my mower when the seat was in the down position that the cable comes in contact with the battery cables it had rubbed through the insulation and shorted out. Now mower won't start, I checked the 30 amp fuse and it is good. Is it possible when mower shorted it blew out a gap in the cable? The digital window by the key still shows information shows 0 volts. Where does the readout get its power?

Most likely blew the fuse .
The location should be in your owners hand book
Battery + should have a plastic cap over it
Wrap the rear retainer to prevent this happening again .\Some times people fit the wrong handed battery because the shop only has one type in stock so you end up with the terminals in the wrong place .
