Machine won't move

Brand new Z 248 F zero turn. Starts right up. As soon as I bring the arms in the engine stops. ???? If I pull out the rods in the rear and bring the arms inward, the machine still doesn't move. ???? Is my parking brake not disengaging?

I second that. But it sounds like they forgot to connect the seat switch since it is new. Either way it should be under warranty.

Possible but how did they load and unload it . the problem would of been present at the time of pickup. But either a parking brake issue that is not de-energizing when the levers are moved, or a seat switch issue.
