LTX1050 just quit

Hi, I was mowing earlier and my tractor just abruptly quit running. Now nothing happens when I turn the key. Any words of wisdom were to start to find the problem?

Battery load test, electrical grounds, gas level, oil level.

Yes, this was done this spring

Oil & fuel levels should be checked before each use on level ground, before starting engine. See CC Lawn Tractor Service Manual page 187 below, Electrical Troubleshooting. Also inspect all belts, idler pulleys, etc. for wear.

Let's basic troubleshooting. Is any of the dash light coming on?

I do not see any lights when I turn the key.

Then check the fuse to see if it is blown.

So I was able to spend a little time today with the tractor. The fuse was blown. Unfortunately the replacement blew as soon as I turned the key. Any suggestions on were to look for a short?
