LTX1040 2010 Key Issue

I have a 2010 LTX1040 mower. When I try to start it and turn the key to the on position I see the dash light up, the Voltage says between 11-12v, but the mower does not turn over. If I jiggle the key around and shut it off and on a few times, it turns over. Tried a brand new battery, same issue. Even after its warmed up same issue. Anyone run into this before? Possibly a bad ignition switch??? Thanks in advance.

Un plug the wires from the switch and clean the contacts. If does not work replace switch
