That had a diagram with all the parts but not how to hook them up

Wow, wow, wow, I have done this for to long and NEVER assume anything. The service manual listed below should give you the linkage you are looking for. As long as you are assuming that I don't know what I am asking for, then you should understand that I don't know anything and I just like to have posters look up info which makes no sense. Bye.

That wasn't it either. An look at your post to me. The second one in this thread and tell me you didn't sound annoyed that I didn't know to put the model, type, and code. That isn't the right link either. Thanks for your help and I hope you don't take this as an argument because its not. You know more than me obviously because I got on here to ask a question and you stepped up to answer. Sorry you took my post as a smartass remark.

:smile: That is a choke-a-matic system. That rod that you described is you choke link. The loop end slides into the slot on the bracket control and the z end is hooked to the hole in your choke shaft arm.
