LTX 1045 Blade spindle nut

I am trying to replace the pulley on my ltx 1045 blade spindle. I am having a heck of a time removing the nut to remove the pulley. Does it loosen to the left or right?
Is it a lock nut? Any suggestions?

It comes off going counterclockwise.
Should be a 11/15 socket.
I use a chunk of 2x4 to hold the blade
Use a big wrench on the end of the ratchet as a cheater bar. Or hit the ratchet with a hammer.
