LT155 Hood vs LA140 Hood

I’ve got a 1989 John Deere LT155 Mower still running in great condition.

will a LA140 JD Mower hood fit on the LT155. Will it even kinda fit.

No way your LT155 is a 1989 model. Can you give the serial number please? I work for a dealership, and that model was not in production then. The short answer is no, the hoods are not compatible, but anything can be done with the right tools and ingenuity.

Will you right it appears they weren't made until 1998 and LA140s weren't around until 2007 according to what I can find.

Thanks! 1998 was when I started this dealership journey. I was a lawn tech fresh out of highschool. Pulled at least a few hundred of those LT series out of the crates brand new!
