Gentlemen, recently aquired a John Deere LT133 M0L133A054289 from my father-in-law, who picked it up in a yard sale. Machine was missing it's hood and battery. Judging from the condition it had been in a flood at some point but someone had made an effort to wash/clean it, even had fresh oil.
After installing a battery it would turn over but no spark. I replaced the coil, plug and a new carb and the sucker cranked up and purrs. I also replace the starter switch
Now the fun part, the mower bypass appears to be bypassed and the seat safety switch has no affect on the machine, even un plugged. It gets better, the sucker will not shut off. I had to use the combination of the choke and blade engagement to kill the engine. After inspecting the relays and finding a mess I replaced all 5, yes it has 5 relays and a starter solenord. This actually cause the feature requiring you to press the button to mow in reverse to start working but the machine still won' t shut off and the seat safety switch does not function. I have found a electrical schematic for a LT133/1155 w/3 amp system. Problem is this machines has 6 relays counting the stater solenord. 5 are neatly placed across the panel just under the battery almost in line with the starter solenord. The machine does have a 3 position starter switch Off/On/Start, problem is turning it to Off will not cut it off?
