I have a Craftsman LT1000 that will start and run for about 15 mins then starts running rough and stalls. To keep it running you have to play with the choke and at times it will rev really high then run rough again. Any ideas as to what may be causing this behavior?
Remove the fuel line from the carb when cold and crank the engine for say 20 sec into a canister and mark how much fuel came out.
When it starts to play up, do the same.
or
When it starts to play up open the fuel cap
Or try both.
Let us know what happened.
