Mower deck LT/LA series deck interchangeability?

I currently have a JD LA175 with a 54" deck that I bought used last year but wish to install a smaller deck so it can be loaded onto my 4x8 trailer. I found a used deck from an LT166 but I was wondering if it will fit and work properly on the LA175. I have tried to find photos online but it's hard to tell from small, low res photos.

Don't know if it will easily hang from the existing brackets...I assume your going to 38 inch?
It should be much easier to hang a smaller deck, than trying to go Larger...
When you do this ... Post back with pictures, of what you had to change... :smile:KennyV
