Losing power after it warms up, 20 minutes

I have a Craftsman/Husqvarna YT4500 rider that has 580 hours. It has been used for 10 years to cut grass on steep hills, plow snow, and snow throwing. A relatively hard life. I am having a problem where it loses power once it warms up, maybe 20 minutes. It works great, until it just seems to lose steam. The engine is strong and doesn't bog down, the belt and idle tensioners have been replaced. I suspect the sealed hydrostatic transmission but no one in this area has any experience with them failing (because usually, something else fails first). Does anyone have any thoughts as to what a failing sealed hydrostatic unit would act?
I read a few things which suggested replacing the oil, but this is a sealed unit. Thanks, in advance.

It does sound typical of a transmission on its way out
