Loses power

On two separate occasions, while mowing, ferris loses power. By turning off PTO, and juggling throttle, I have been able to return mower to shed. At first, I thought maybe my sleeve cught in the choke. But the last time I looked and that was not the problem. When the guy who takes care of my mower came, it started right up and ran fine, even in high grass. It is as if something is clogged or heated or ??. Any ideas at all.

The above is a clue about possibly being down one cylinder.

You also need

1.air - clean new'ish air filter and filter housing
2.fuel - proper air fuel ratio
3.spark - at the correct time as in flywheel key in good shape
4.compression - enough to run proper

The one thing I noticed was that I was mowing an incline both times

put the correct amount of fuel dryer in the tank and see if it improves. Sounds like either debris in the tank blocking the outlet, or a little water in the fuel.
