Hi! new guy to forum & Murray lawn tractors. I'm a Wheel Horse guy but was given this little Murray lawn tractor. I think it is a 1985 model. model#5-36508 date#1645. Runs great shifts good even looks good. The problem is the 36" deck. It's pretty much rusted away. Does anyone know what else might fit? It is a 2blade deck that "hangs" from the tractor,there are no wheels on this deck. The height adjuster is a thumbwheel/lever on the fender. Thanks.

I feel for ya buddy.... lookin for a deck for my 2004 model, try this place in Jamestown Pa. Might have to cry , beg and plead with them to search for it but I think a salvage yard is your last resort , Best of luck keep us informed ........... Boobala :frown:
