I own a 2004 Lesco model 708682 (48" walk behind) and I need to replace the transmission. (PN 700152) Does anyone know where I can purchase Lesco replacement parts, in particular a new/rebuilt transmission

Keep a eye on E-Bay. Looks like it might fits other brand mowers as well, so maybe a mower salvage yards? Give some of the big parts dealers a call like Jacks? Is the old transmission repairable? We have a large equipment dealer close to me that seems to find odd parts for me. I know that sometimes when I get a repair job that one of my hardest parts of the job is to find parts. I don't know if this will help, Lesco put Peerless Tecumseh transmissions in their machines. What does your transmission look like? I have one that you are welcome to if it will work for you. Here is what it looks like and a pic of the tag should help to see if it is a match.I have no use for it. If you can use it, just pay the shipping and its yours.
