I have a Model 3240 Cub Cadet riding mower with a twin cylinder Kohler engine. I have developed an oil leak at the rear crankshaft seal.
My question is, has anyone used a liquid seal product that works and if yes what was it?

Do not used any of the gimmicks out there. It best to do the repair correctly by replacing the seal. And yes it means pulling the engine on that shaft drive model as the seal you are referring to is most likely the flywheel side and it has to come off. Plus you need make the flywheel crankcase beariing is not worn out. IF it is then replacing the seal will not help as the crankcase has to be replaced.

I had a Bunton ZT with a nice Kohler engine. Same issue, but it was the upper case "seal". Unfortunately there isn't s seal there, it's just machined. Had to scrap the engine
