Leaking Gas Tank

I have a Murray lawn tractor and the mounting screws have penetrated the tank causing it to leak at both screw holes. How can I patch this plastic tank?

Get a plastic welding kit
The ones that go on the end of a soldering iron will come with some sticks of HDPE and instructions.

If this were my machine, I'd look for local mower repair shop "boneyards" that often have re-usable items from parted-out units available to buy.

At a temproary fix until you get another tank or buy some welding equipment, you can put some Seal All in the screw holes.

"The mounting screws have penetrated the tank?" Seriously? Did they do this just all of a sudden? Or was it a long-term plot? What do you think?
