It's 2012:laughing::laughing::laughing: Just couldn't resist. Nice mower but I can't help you as far as what model year your Lawn Boy happens to be.

yup 1979, runs great, amd is very easy to push. loud exhuast out the bottom.

The exhaust shouldn't be loud... something's probably wrong, IMO... could the muffler mounts not be tightened so the exhaust gasket is leaking?

The F-series engine should not be loud compared to most mowers.

could be, i wil have to check it out this week. you may be correct.

the muffler is rotted right were the exhaust comes out of the bottom of the engine. other than that it runs great and is in good condition.

i have a chance to buy one of them with a alum. deck from a dealer thats just down in his basement along with like 4 or 5 other 2 cycle lawn boys i don't know what models they are i don't know much about lawn boys he has one I'm trying to buy its a alum. deck all electric start no pull start the primer button is on the handle where the key is its just a neat old mower
