Lawnboy 10420 side bagging experiment
www.mytractorforum.com
I tried to attach an actual photo of my mower but it keeps coming back as file to large no matter how I try to attach same
Sorry its a side bag mount. Unfortunately I can't attach a picture ( file too big) after multiple attempts . The bag on My Tractor forum appears to be the same as mine ( I know he said it was from another model ) All the part numbers you and I have found are apparently an upgraded bag which requires a modified bracket to attach to a different chute. I think I'm at the end of the line. Hopefully my OE bag hangs in there.Ok, I think I’ve got this figured out. The bagger in the MyTractor forum is not the OEM side bagging used on a 10525 model, but one adapted from an different model. The side bagging system for a 10525 should be kit number 89817, which uses bag number 89816. From your postings I’m assuming (yes I know I should do that) that you have a rear mounted bagging setup on your unit. The replacement bag part number is 100-6362.
Unfortunately 89816 requires a new bag bracket to attach to the chute and a different chute than what I have. I'll keep looking for my bag style as they are out there.....I missed out on 2 new correct OE bags 5 months ago for $10.00........The hanger you have is part of Lawn Boy bagger kit 89817. The bag for that kit is 89816, which is upgraded to a three hole mount.
It appears that patience counts for something. And I did understand your posts. This morning I bought a unit close enough to what I was looking for. The bag has the 3 holed plastic handle which is fine ( unlike mine with a strap ) but more importantly it has the metal frame that attaches directly to my chute. The bag / chute / support rod for $25.00Duh, I‘m out of this thread as you know more than me. I’ve tried to help you combine different systems, but you don’t understand my posts, so I’m done trying to explain a possible solution. Good Luck in your search.
