im looking to buy this when i get paid ( im low on cash right now )
at 35$ and running i think it is worth it but a question is the deck a 19 or 21 inch cut???

It says 21 on the shroud so that's probably what size deck it is.

I'm pretty sure model numbers starting with 5 mean it is a 19" cut. Mine is a model 5247, check out page 4 at http://www.lawnmowerforum.com/lawn-boy-forum/24822-opinion-buying-lawn-boy-4.html and there is a close up of my 5247 data plate. It's entirely possible that it is not the original shroud because the fuel tank is part of the shroud, so if it got cracked and was leaking a spare may have been installed.

Oh, and at that price when you get the money, jump on that, it's a great deal if the deck is in good shape.

The ONLY difference from a 19" model and a 21" model is the deck and blade...and the decals on the engine shroud/gas tank. This mower could have had an engine or shroud swap. It looks like a 19" deck. I love the 19" size for Lawnboys.
