Lawnboy 10685 Recoil Starter?

i was wondering if i will be able to fix the Recoil Starter on my mover. the 2 metal tags that catch the engine fell off of the Recoil Starter unit. thanks for the help...

Those pieces are the starter pawls. I wouldn't try to repair that starter. Just purchase a new one. You didn't post your engine numbers, but to me it looks like Tecumseh part number 590785, costs about $25.00. Take it to your local repair shop and maybe they have a used one much cheap. It is a very common starter.

I believe it is the TECUMSEH LV195EA-362044D engine. Thanks for the info.

That engine was made with two different starters, either 590739 or 590702. Take your starter with you when you going looking for a replacement.
