Can anyone identify the make, model and year of this mower? It is thought to be a 1939 Lawn-Boy with a Lawson engine, but dont know for sure. It is in remarkable condition and after I worked on it today (just acquired it 2 days ago), it starts on the first or second pull. I think it may be pretty rare as I have been unable to locate another one on line. Any help appreciated.

Two-Stroke
The early Lawn-Boys weren't necessarily green so I wouldn't go by the color. Is there any writing on it at all?
In any case it's a wonderful find. It is a two-cycle engine -- right?
Nothing found so - got to be something somewhere. I'll take the engine off today and do a really close inspection on my workbench. I'm in shock that it starts so easy, although it has a pretty significant vibration - could be the blade needs balancing.
Also found these numbers on the block "49 299" and below that "P 231". Other block markings are shown in the photos. Carbureator is Tillotson made in Toledo. Sure hope someone can identify the mower and engine???
