hello i am new here to this forum i came across this lawn-boy 5124 push mower and i started to take it apart but i can seem to get it off the deck anyone got any ideas or a manual ?

Engine mounting bolts are probably under the muffler, which must be removed first.

Yep. Pull the muffler off then there are three bolts holding the engine to the muffler plate. Then you can unbolt the muffler plate from the deck if you want it completely stripped down.
