I have a Gold Series model 10545. It starts hard when cold and doesn't idle. How do you adjust the idle and how can you tell if the primer bulb is bad or going bad?

To adjust the idle, there's a thumb wheel just below the governor air vane. Clockwise to increase, counter to decrease rpms. You'll hear a clicking sound. When you push the primer, you should be able to see fuel coming from the main jet area of the carb. You'll need to remove the cover and air filter to check. Good luck!
