The b&s 10 HP single on my landlord just have up on me and I'm thinking of replacing it with a Kohler 18 HP v twin. Anyone know if this can be done and maybe some tips and pointers?
Absolutely yes it can be done. Will you be installing a new or rebuilt v-twin? Go to Simplicity Tractors, click on support, then manuals and type in your model number. If Simplicity information is not enough you can go to Kohler support or Briggs & Stratton support and they can email you information depending on engine you prefer. Example:
