Hi Gene,
Welcome to the forum. I have had several of those push mowers. Cast deck, 2 speed shaft drive, bbc, Honda engine, really nice machines. I just sold 4 of the 19 inch ones last season. (running out of space, had to make room) They are definitely on my top 5 list of mowers.
As far as the battery goes: There a couple of options you can go with. Obviously, finding an OEM replacement, but I bet that will cost a pretty penny. In my area we have a store called "Batteries Plus" They sell a giant assortment of batteries. When I need a battery for a push mower I take the old battery and the spec's to the store and match one off of the shelf. The worst case scenario I have experienced was needing to change the receptacle to match the old battery. Most of the Lawn-Boy electric starts I work on call for a $75.00 OEM replacement battery, Batteries Plus usually gets me hooked up for less than $30.00. Again I don't know what you may have in your are, but I would look for a battery specific store.
d sharier,
Thanks for the info. I do have a battery plus store locally. I'll give it a try. My mower starts on a couple of pulls but as I age I am getting to think electric starting is in my future.
D Shairer,
I went to batteries plus. After seeing their cure and cost for my problem. I came home and cut the leads off of my OEM Kubota battery and attached them to a battery from my grandsons broken scooter, It works great. I still have to find a way to put the cover back on the mower. I'll find a way that wont change the looks too much. Thanks again for your suggestion. Now I have to find replacement bolts and lugs for the handle on my other Kubota SC

I have moved your thread to the Kubota Forum
Hi
Kubota w 5021 and w 5019 owners. I was looking for bolts to fasten my mower blade. I found them as Sears and many places on the internet from seven to nine dollars. I finally went to a Kubots dealer parts department and bought them for 75 cents. Just for your information. It may be better to call a Kubota dealer, sometimes
