Both rear wheels have a drive shaft to the Hydro drive. However when the tractor is driven on uneven ground only the left wheel provides power. I must push the machine to more level ground to distribute the wheel load more evenly. I would expect the Hydro drive to compensate for such situation. Is this normal? What am I missing?

I have NO clue about YOUR machine but to me, sounds like a dead hydro motor. Possible lack of fluid reaching it? $$$$

Come on have you heard of actually looking up the equipment before typing?

It has either a G700 or G730 Hydro Gear transaxle.

Yes it is normal due the way differential is. It is just like a vehicle with rear wheel drive wheel each can rotate at different speeds. Most times it is the wheel that is on the high side that loses traction due to less weight on it. You must shift your weight to that side.

Thank you for telling me what Hydro trans it is. All I have at this moment is Operators Manual. The depth of discussion on Hydro trans in it is a paragraph six lines long telling me where and how to check the fluid level and add. This document does not even give me any ID of the transaxle. The first thing is to investigate the theory of operation of the Hydro drive. So this is .... to be continued.
