Buying Advice Kubota gas engine

I am considering a Kubota Z222 with the Kubota gas engine. What has your experience been with Kubota gas engines?
Comparing it to a 723 series with Kohler Command. Engine performance is my prime consideration and I have no
experience with Kubota GAS engines. Thanks for your input.
 
I have friends who will only use Kubota ZTR'S, been using them for years, say they're tough, durable, keep them maintained, no major issues.
 
We mow about 10 acres a week so We replaced my older BX 2200 (over 2000 hours) with a Z121s with with a Kubota Kohler engine. I mow alone side my wife on her BX 2670 with no lack of power. I find it does burn at least 1/2 again as much gas as the BX. I like the gas alright but will replace it with diesel next time because it is the only gas engine we have on the farm.
