Are you using a OEM belt?

Nope. 55 hours on mine and never had anything like that happen. Though I've never taken the mowing deck off either.

Yes OEM and going by The book on operating. I can see belt markings on the deck.

To break a new OEM belt you most have a bad alignment problem. Bent brackets, bent pulleys, bad bearings, broken spindle housing Maybe remove the deck and check out everything very close, like cracks where the bracket fasten to the deck, or worn out bushings and bolts. Did you hit something?

Thanks KGW52

Are you engaging the PTO at full throttle? That could be stressing the belt or stretching it out. Always engage PTO around 50% throttle.

It should still be under warranty, if it is I would take it to the dealer. We have never had an issue with ours.

Kubota's usually do not have a bad rep for belts falling off, but there are a number of things that could cause this regardless of the machine. The deck belt mounting system could be damaged:drive pulleys, idler pulley, check pitch/rake, the belt it self could be damaged. Remember that when a deck is properly adjusted it will slant slightly forward, about 1/8-1/4 of inch difference from the rear of the deck. Also make sure your belts are free of buildup of debris: grass, soil, leafs, sticks, acorns, etc....

If your mower is still under warranty I recommend taking it to get looked at after you have checked all of the above. Good Luck!
