I have a Cub Cadet LTX 1040 lawn tractor powered by a Kohler Courage 19 engine. When I finish cutting grass and power down the engine, it shudders several times before it stops. (I slow the engine to idle before turning off the switch.) It almost reminds me of some old cars that used to diesel when you turned them off. It almost sounds like a knock. Note: The engine runs smoothly when cutting grass at all speeds and idles smoothly too. Any ideas?
