Kohler K161 No Spark

@#%&!! Got the new coil installed and almost buttoned back up. STILL NO SPARK!! MI got out the OLD analog (still cheap) meter. At least it responds when the wires touch! Using it, the old coil, removed from the tiller, reads 8K ohms. The new coil, installed ti points and condenser, reads 5k ohms.

Did I get a bad coil?? Purchased from isavetractors.com Part IGN01007
