Kohler 710 and 590 courage engines

I have a 2008 Ariens 42 inch cut mower with kohler 590 courage 19hp engine. The deck is beyond saving but the engine is good. My sister has a 2009 Husquva 46 inch cut with Kohler 20 hp courage engine. Her engine has blown a large hole out the back big enough to put your hand in so it is shot. I am wondering if I could take my 19hp engine out and put it in her mower.

I say yes, but I can't see how similar they are from my chair.

Yes but you might need to transfer the electrics from one to the other.
