while useing a john deere zero turn with a 20 hp kohler engine, the engine will not turn offl. it does sound
differently when the key is turned off , like one cyl is turn off but not both. I removed the blower housing and
tested the ground wire that runs to both coils and is usually grounded to kill an engine. If I short the coil
terminal where the ground wire connects, one coil will cause the engine to slow down but not die, shorting
the second coil has no affect on the running what so ever. could this be a bad ign coil.
