Our seven month old tabby is getting to be a headache, we have cat towers everyplace but he prefers to stretch and scratch the corners of our oak cabinets and furniture instead...I have a lot of left over foam insulation tubes from insulating copper water lines, used scotch tape folded into a loop to fasten several half-inch tubes to the corners of the furniture. When he tries to scratch, usually the tube comes down and startles him...after only two days he is avoiding the corners. Cheap, fast, and safe for cats of all ages....:laughing::laughing:
