kill wire problem

it might’ve been bypassed at the harness — maybe heat-shrinked or tucked back in. Sometimes the connector gets looped with a jumper wire too. Checking ohms like suggested is definitely the way to go. Thanks again for the help, everyone — I’ll post back once I dig into it

Hi boydog40.

Check the hinge fold area under the seat mount platform. Some switches were placed there instead of the actual seat itself. If there is a hole in the area with an odd shape, the plastic switch may have finally broken into piece and is now just a couple of wires hiding under the rider platform.
