Key switch question.

Partstree keyswitch for this model (Cub Cadet 01003581) is like $50. Is there another brand or place to get these cheaper? Seems like the last one I bought was like $15.00.


Update: Is the 01003581 the same as the MTD 925-1396A ?

I believe you will find that switch is the same as the MTD 925-1396A switch which is the Stens 430-770. But verify pin out as I could couldn't MN 07009444 on Partstree or the Cub Cadet website.

I'm glad you posted this. I ordered the stens one. Although I couldn't read any of the markings on the back of this old one.
Just sort of hoping and praying it's the right one.

Most times if the pin positions are the same then the switches are interchangeable.
Just double check the kill wire does not connect to any power wire B A1 A2 etc before you fit it.
The Stens catalogue usually lists all of the OEM part numbers that it replaces.
