Kawasaki Hedge Trimmers

I need a new hedge trimmer to replace my Shindaiwa. It's been a good machine but is on the heavy side. Looking at the Kawasaki KHDS600A and KHT600S. Look to me to be about the same except KHDS600A has a rotating handle, is heavier and costs about $50 bucks more.

Any experience with either one? Also kinda interested in the Tanaka HDT2522 but don't know much about them.

Well I don't have any experience with either brands, but I do know that Tanaka has a 7-year consumer warranty!! http://www.tanaka-usa.com/home-page

Kawasaki is a very good 2stroke product.
Very robust and reliable.
Downside is expensive to buy and parts can be expensive aswell.

And also Kawasaki has a 5-year consumer warranty. That's less than Tanaka. But I think either of these brands would be OK for you.
