Kawasaki FS481V crankcase cover

Removed the crankcase cover on this engine to remove pistons.
Looked on the internet to see if there is anything to look for when reinstalling it and can find any information.
How do you line up the drive pins on the cam with the oil pump when reinstalling cover?
And making sure the governor "fork" goes behind the small race on the cam gear?

Book doesn't give me the answers to my questions I'm asking, unless I'm looking in the wrong section.

Okay provided you align the pump gerotor assembly as in section 6.9 and place the camshaft in time with the crankshaft. The camshaft pins should auto align with the pump. You not have worry about the governor fork until you do the static adjustment. Either you careful tap the cover in place just in case you need to rotate the crankshaft to get things to drop in place. Note you should the rockers released so there is no tension on the camshaft, rocking it sideways.

I have the engine on it's side, can I install the cover this way or must the engine be vertical?
Looking at the parts breakdown of the governor (3-10 fuel system) does the governor fork rest on washer D?
