Hi there i just signed up for this forum. Seems to be alot of good info on here. I bought a 2009 LA145 from a dealer brand new i have not had any problems with it. changed the oil twice, put new front tires on it and dump gas in the tank when its low. it sits under my deck at my house and starts everytime i turn the key. absolutly no issues with it.
I just bough a 1970 JD 110 for $100.00 with orig deck that is rotted beyond repair and it came with a snow blower. havent had a chance to even try to start it yet. needs new seat, front tires, and ill do a full tun up prior to starting it. guy i bought it from said he hasnt started it in over 10 years but it ran when he parked it in his shed.
