I have a 917-388113 Craftsman lawn mower with the 625 Briggs and stratton engine. Bought a brand new Carb and installed it new spark plug new air filter. spark plug has spark, primer works find. It just will not start. spray starter fluid in it still nothing. What else could I check. This is my first post so really hoping someone comes up with a idea I can look for to get this started

looks like you got spark and fuel, two more things to try compression and timing.
