Hello, I recently noticed my ground cable for the battery came loose along with a wire coming from the engine area with an identical terminal end as the battery ground. It appears they were grounded together somewhere but I can not find the correct location.

While messing with them I was able to get the mower to start if they were touching near the frame. But now it won't start. Just the solenoid clicks.

My question is where do these 2 wires get bolted to and why won't the mover turn over now. The battery is good and I tried shorting the solenoid to see if it'd start.

Just to clarify, the ground for battery is connected to the battery. It came undone on the other end

Thanks
Dave

You can attach the loose end of the ground cable to any good clean area of the units frame. Most are attached to one of the engine mounting bolts.
