John Deere won't start

Hubby's ride on mower was working fine, went to start it and nothing just an alarm sound when key was turned , checked fuel ,fuses,
Any one any ideas?

First thing you need to do is tell him you broke his mower.

Did you have the brake pedal pushed down?
Pto off?
Sitting in the seat ?
Is oil full ?

(( racing is the only sport that you need two balls ))

Lol, I was no where near it when it would not start, he's
Done all the normal things one has to do when starting it.
