I have a John Deere lx277 riding mower with a Kawasaki engine. When you turn key to on position the starter engages. When mower cranks starter is still engaging. Does this sound like I need a new key switch module?
get some one to start the engine.
The instant it starts pull the trigger wire form the starter solenoid .
IF the starter continues to crank then the solenoid / starter is at fault.
If it stops dead then the switch / wiring is at fault.
